When possible, The University of Tennessee Medical Center physician patients can now be seen while at home through telehealth phone and video visits. Telehealth appointments make it easy to access the care care you trust by using your existing smartphone, tablet or computer.

Availability of appointment by video and telephone varies by location and eligibility. Please call your physician’s office to request a telehealth appointment.

Q: I have an appointment scheduled, and want to change to a telephone or telehealth appointment instead of coming into the office. What do I do?

A: If you’re scheduled for an office visit, your provider may determine that you can be treated over the phone or via a virtual appointment instead of an in-person visit. Contact your physician’s office for more information.

Q: How can I schedule a new telehealth visit?

A: Request your visit with your physician’s office as you normally would and mention telehealth. Your provider will then decide if your visit qualifies for a telehealth appointment.

A: Telehealth appointments make it easy to access the care you trust by using your existing smartphone, tablet or computer. Video and Phone appointments are available with telehealth.
