Through a series of lectures, this symposium will provide the latest information regarding clinical presentation, exam findings, diagnostic tests, pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacological management of Alzheimer’s and other age-related dementias. It. will also provide information about caregiver support. The knowledge acquired during this activity will improve the participants ability to accurately diagnose and treat these conditions and provide the tools to better support caregivers. It will feature a diverse group of guest speakers and members of The Pat Summitt Clinic multidisciplinary team. Caregiver specific sessions will be held on day one, with the goal of providing general education about dementia and caregiving advice.

Specific content for healthcare providers will be presented on days one and two, with option for CME. The Pat Summitt Clinic serves over 5,600 people currently living with Dementia and their families by providing a multi-disciplinary team approach to care, educational programs, resources and access to the latest research worldwide. The Pat Summitt Clinic was formed through a collaboration between The University of Tennessee Medical Center and The Pat Summitt Foundation, a fund of the East Tennessee Foundation.
