Until further notice, University Breast Center at The University of Tennessee Medical Center will temporarily stop performing screening mammograms and bone density (Dexa) exams. This choice was made in support of a decision made by our local health care community to stop elective procedures and services in a proactive effort to prevent community spread and exposure to COVID-19.

University Breast Center will continue to provide diagnostic evaluations for patients with new palpable lumps, breast abscess and post-surgical concerns with a physician referral. Please contact Breast Care Services at 865-305-6921 if you start to experience new breast symptoms at this time.

Scheduling assistants are available to assist with rescheduling or cancelling your screening mammogram at 865-305-9069.
