Our team has been working for many weeks to prepare for COVID-19. The medical center is following all national and state recommendations to be good stewards of the resources that are in short supply. And we are working collaboratively with the other health systems in the region.
While we are urging people to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance for social distancing and staying home as much as possible, many people are still looking for ways they can help. Below are some of the ways you can help The University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Your financial support has always been important to the work on our campus but now more than ever, your generosity will aid our efforts on every front as we work together to combat COVID-19, care for our patients and families in their hour of greatest need and emerge stronger than ever. To make an online donation, click here or to speak with a member of the Development team about how your gift can make an impact, please call 865-305-6611 or email development@utmck.edu.
Plasma donations from recovered COVID-19 patients could become an important part of treatment offerings going forward. If you have recovered from coronavirus and are interested in donating, please visit Medic for more information on donating.
If there are other items (hand sanitizer, face shields, scrubs, etc.) you would like to donate, please call 865-305-9135.
On behalf of all of our team members, thank you for your support, generosity and kindness. We are very grateful for your friendship and spirit of community.
