The University of Tennessee Medical Center is an In-Network Provider for Four 2022 Marketplace Network Plans
Open enrollment is now underway for patients to select their plan for the new year.
The open enrollment period for 2022 Marketplace plans is now underway. That means that individuals and families can enroll in or renew a Marketplace plan for the coming year. The 2022 enrollment period begins November 1, 2021.
The University of Tennessee Medical Center will participate in four network plans for the 2022 calendar year. You can review available plans and enroll by visiting healthcare.gov.
UT Medical Center’s in-network provider include:
- Bright Health
- Cigna Connect
- United Healthcare — Tennessee Individual Exchange Benefit
- Blue Network L and Blue Network S — Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee plans
If you or your family would like to receive covered health care services in 2022 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center, you are encouraged to choose one of these networks.
Patients who enroll in Marketplace plans represent a broad audience. This includes those who are self-employed or who work for a company that does not offer health insurance. Other Marketplace customers include those who need coverage but do not qualify for either TennCare or Medicare.
COVID-19 impacted employment status and benefits this year. As a result, you or your family may be suited for a 2022 Marketplace plan. The Marketplace also may appeal to those who are looking for another choice for their health care coverage.
