Pre-Anesthesia Testing

We provide Pre-Anesthesia Testing (PAT) for patients who are going to have surgery or a procedure, which requires them to be put to sleep with anesthesia.

The testing and assessment will include a nurse call for medical health history, a review of medications and a review by an anesthesiologist. It may also include lab tests, EKG, nurse assessment and review of records from specialists.

The Day of Your Appointment

If you are scheduled for an appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early. Park in Garage C or H. Go to the PAT office located in Building A, Suite 140 for your appointment. Your appointment will last 15 to 45 minutes depending on the tests you require.

Please bring the following to your PAT appointment:

• Your insurance card
• A photo ID
• Your list of medications

Rescheduling Your Appointment

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call 865-305-9076, press 2. You will be notified if there are any issues that could cause your procedure or surgery to be canceled or delayed.
