Proud To Be a Level 1 HDSA Center of Excellence Partner
The University of Tennessee Medical Center is proud to announce that the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) and its Center Programs and Education Advisory Committee (CPEAC), has designated the Cole Neuroscience Center Movement Disorders Clinic as a Level 1 HDSA Center of Excellence Partner. HDSA currently has 41 Centers of Excellence across the United States that provide an elite multidisciplinary approach to Huntington’s disease care and research.
Recently, the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) and its Center Programs and Education Advisory Committee (CPEAC), announced that The University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Cole Neuroscience Center Movement Disorders Clinic has been designated as a Level 1 HDSA Center of Excellence Partner.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a HDSA Center of Excellence and UT Medical Center and Erlanger Health System are HDSA Center of Excellence Partners. HDSA currently has 41 Centers of Excellence across the United States that provide an elite multidisciplinary approach to Huntington’s disease care and research.
Patients benefit from expert neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, counselors and other professionals who have deep experience working with families affected by HD and who work collaboratively to help families plan the best HD care program throughout the course of the disease.

Huntington’s disease (HD) is a fatal inherited genetic disorder that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It deteriorates a person’s physical and mental abilities during their prime working years and has no cure.
